i have a peavey valveking 112 (28-50 watts) which has too much headroom. if i remove a tube, will i risk damaging anything? and i know that it is dangerous with the voltages - turning the amp off but leaving the standby switch on, and unplugging it should do the trick, right? (i'll leave it overnight)
