you know a little while back i posted that dusk till sawn vid asking about what guitar it was and fran and said it looked like a crappy japansese kay [same make really].

well ive developed a bit of a crush for them and can't help but really want one [stop looking at me like that fran]

there seem to be a fair few on ebay generally going for peanuts in guitar money, is this bad of me? would i be making a mistake you think?

Just fair warning: make sure you have the time to spend in setting them up if they aren't in working order. The old bridges can be a hastle if you have to try to locate a replacement, the necks were made from cheap wood so warpage is common, may need a refret, may need truss rod adjustment (be VERY CAREFUL as the old wood snaps easy), and always remember that as they were made as cheap guitars in the sixties, they will play like a cheap guitar. Opinions on the sound differ on who you talk to, but the action on the neck isn't exactly going to be as smooth as even a Squier. Good luck to you.

well i guess i wanted it aas an ornamental/joy of ownership piece but you make a fair point, the ones ive seen generally seem to have good fret condition (i'm not paying for another bastard one).
