f- SPACED is generally for Fender guitars and Reg is generally for gibson. it just the spacing from the pole pieces. IMO it doesnt make a difference, and with the TOM i think its gibson spaced anyways, but it could be fender spaced TOM. but then again IMO it makes no difference

so its the way the strings line up with the pole pieces? and like you said is an "adjusto-matic" gibson or fender spacing?

yeah its the pole piece spacing and the string spacing. i dont know if adjustomatics are fender spaced or gibson spaced, but as i said earlier i really dont think that the slight difference space will make a difference to your sound.

I can finally confirm that the Adjust-o-matic bridge is in fact F-spaced. I did a load of work on a friend's Dearmond M-75 a few weeks back. Dearmond are like the Guild equivalent of Squier for those who don't know, and Fender bought Guild out some time ago, as such parts between the companies are now standardised, so Guilds, Gretches and hardtail Fender models all use the Adjust-o-matic. I took the opportunity to measure the spacing. 52mm. F-spaced. Booyah. 😉

i always thought that Floyd-rose spaced was 53mm and anything less was normal spaced. 😕

but in fact i have normal spaced and the pole pieces dont line up the strings with my TOM.

its only the high E that is a bit offset
