phaeton I've had another idea, how would it affect the sound of a les paul if i had plugs for the stop bar fitted to the rear of the body so i could move the stop bar back about 4 inches?
tragictravisty it would change the overtones of the guitar, like the way a jaguar sounds different with a buzzstop than without. It could also decrease sustain.
