Floyd Rose?

I don't have a jagstang yet, but I plan on buying one if I can find one....

I'm not sure if I want to keep it as original as I can or fix it up.

I may get some different pickups and if I could, an original floyd rose tremolo system.

now obviously the floyd rose system would mean cutting up the guitar a bit, which is what makes me worried.

would it be worth it to experiment?

if you want a floyd, please get a strat or an ibanez. dont do it to a JS. PLEASE

You wouldn't be able to put in a floyd rose unless you order a body from warmoth or some place similar because the JS's routings don't leave the wood neccessary to successfully install a floyd.

Not too mention that it would also look hideous.

i figured the responses would be negative....it was really just a random thought that popped up in my head, i doubt i'd ever actually pursue it

Why would you want a floyd rose on it anyway?

If you want a floyd rose to do some dimebag style bombs and ear piercing screeches, you wouldn't want a hippy machine like the jagstang anyway!

Kinda like buying a VW Beetle, scratching Trivium into the side of it with a razor blade and painting it matt black.

the whole point of guitars like this is their comfort, switching options, and the floating tremelo

but if you insist, go custom body - usacustomguitars.com or warmoth
