kurdtCobain kurdt Cobain said: Kurt had 3 jag-stangs not counting the fiesta red one and his were made in japan then sent to his guitar tec earnie bailey then sent to fender inc. then mailed to kurt alos as far as i no it was 96 but i wasnt alive then so i dont no acttually i was born in 96 but i was to smalll to play guitar thenhe had three look on kurt'sguitarsnow.com and i saw the videos where he broke 2 of them and thats what i read on kurt'sguitarsnow.com so yeah man not sure if its true but i did see him break them and two are in a museum now trust me look on the sight

jacksonjackass 🙄Kurt's ONLY jagstang had a PLAIN WHITE pickguard. EVERYBODY knows that.I'm surprised you question the knowlege of an ex nirvana maniac and forum member of 1 year
Zackstexas jacksonjackass Cobain's pickguard was 1 ply plain white. 100 % true. Kurdt(lol) the more you write the deeper your hole gets.
kurdtCobain wow ure stuck up arent you atleast look at the site and stop being a a-hole about it and he did replace the pick gaurd but it may be the proto type jag-stang he did have 2 jag-stangs but he sent the first one back and it was put in fender incs vault and the second became the actual jag-stang that it is today so there forth he had 2 jag-stangs
jacksonjackass I'm not being an a-hole. You've just been mislead by the a-hole who wrote that BSPlease post the pics of all these JSs. Its pretty difficult to tell some of those humbucker mustangs from jagstangs
jacksonjackass And just so you know, the red guitar in that 'french TV drain you' is a mustangSo is that ^^THAT IS a jagstang 😉And then of course, there's the red one at the fender museum
kurdtCobain oh ok i thought it was a jag-stang cause he was wearing the same shirt so so sorry my freind but he had 2 blue js the first one was sent back and remodified and then sent back to him and another wasnt actually a jag stang but a guitar called a federez was built for kurt and it looks exactley like a jag-stang sorry i thought it was the jag-stang sadly there only one of those ever made
kurdtCobain i new the red mustang wasnt a jag-stang and ill email u the pics cause i dont no how to add pics whats ure email
kidwaJstang I just looked all over the kurt's guitars now site, and it does NOT say he had 2 sonic blues. It says there were 2 PROTOTYPES, one blue (given to REM) and one red (that was never played by Kurt and is currently at the Fender museum).http://kurtsguitarsnow.blogspot.com/2009/02/blue-fender-jagstang.htmlSo, no the site isn't BS as previously stated. Our Kurdt friend here just misread/misunderstood what was written on the site.
kurdtCobain thanks i may have im tired alot so yeah and thanks for not dissing on me kid with a jag-stang
kidwaJstang No worries. You won't find prejudice on my end, friend. Just doing what I can to help clarify info to get everyone on the same page.
kidwaJstang I was reading some of the things people have been posting toward you. It may do some good to check this site out http://www.shortscale.org/wiki/index.php?title=Shortscale_Guitars and familiarise yourself with some of the terms used here as well as the history of the instruments we often reference. Knowledge is power my friend.
