thats pretty cool, i had sort of the same thing happen to me, but no way to prove it.
i once saw a 59 jazzy at the chicago music exhange and then about 2 months later sy's gear got stolen and then a couple months after that i saw them play in chicago and i swear it was the same 59 jazzy, but it probly wasn't.
the singer from the hangmen has a 66 mustang(black) but with no mods, its a sexy beast.
