anyone know the polychorus settings for radio friendly unit shifter? i'm planing on gettin a polychorus soon and wanted to know the settings for the intro.

im not an expert on nirvana by any means but i imagine the polychorus with its #### oogle of knobs would get you closer than other choruses though. you could just get a small clone (is that what theyre called?) thatd problably get you in the ballpark for under 100$

there different pedals. there not exactly the same circuit.

its not like another pedal will get you any closer though, is it? does anybody make a copy of the original?

i think it will get you the closest to the OG, but im saying it wont get you it exactly. but kurtsequipment.com under the effects section has his handwritten polychorus settings. and if you get the reissue make sure you look at a picture of the original for the knob placement becuase the knobs are in different places so you have to get you knobs correct or it will sound way off.

ive got one. i found a vintage in a store, so i got that instead of the re issue, but i love it. theres so many sound opportunities. every setting sounds great, none of them are useless. im sure you'll love it.

i seriously cant find a pic of the vintage polychorus to compare it to the reissue. i have the pic of kurts settings though.

i found a pic of the vinatge one but i cant read the top 2 knobs, anyone know what they say?

i know thw first knob says tune and the second says width.

thats kurts. on kurtsequipment it has a larger picture, but going from the top left to the bottom it goes feedback-rate-width-tune. the reissues are like width-rate-tune-feedback

I have a Vintage '70's Poly Chorus, and Reissue, and as said befor they sound NOTHING alike, not even close. but, they both sound really good. The quickest way to tell a vintage from a reissue is the 'overload LED' the originals, dont have these, only the reissues. and the reissues take a adapter to where the originals had a hard wired electrical cord.

Here is a pic of both of mine, the one on the left is the Reissue and the one on the right is the Vintage original, and if set right, you get teh KuRtz Radio Friendly tone!

i play in a Nirvana cover band (and nofx to), here are my settings for Rfus:

with: max rate:10-11 o'clock tune:9 feedback:9 or more in flange mode, filter off.

I have the jagstang, then Ds-2 and the polychorus, the sound is amazing!!

my drummer was amazed the first time i play it

(i'm not at home with my gear but i think the settings are ok)
