Okay, so, here's another 'help a noob' topic! This time it's the turn of PA systems.
I don't know how they work, in short. Kurt appears to have a square stack of four big Marshall amps there, and then there are the speakers at the front of the stage which a friend tells me are so the band can hear themselves. Where does the PA system come in, and what does it even do? I thought it was the amp and those speakers that made all of the guitar sound.
