on a gotoh TUNEOMATIC what do i do? this is with the E(54) and g(22) doesnt happen with a 52E and 17g.... 😕

Are you sure it's the saddles and not the strings?

As you know and say, the lighter gauge should rattle more than the heavier one, and tuneomatics almost never rattle (although i've never used a Gotoh).

I may be wrong, but i'd say it was your strings.

How new are they? Did you just put them on or have they been on a while and just started rattling?

brand spanking new. and the sattles have some wiggle room to begin with. maybe theyre not finding their way in the grooves?

Well to start with, i'd slacken the strings, pull them cleanly out of the grooves, and then reset and tune them again, it'll take you all of 3 minutes max to see if it behaves the same way again.

Hold up, what guitar is this on? Does it happen both fretted and open?

Obviously, the bridge shouldn't rattle, it would have rattled with the lighter gauge too, but since you've gone from lighter to higher gauge, and you're complaining about the Low E and g, i'd say straight away (i know you said it's the bridge that's rattling) that it would be fret buzz and you haven't set it up properly.
