AshleyNirvana I wouldn't call it rare, but he didn't play the Jagstang that many times, I believe. Someone on these forums posted an interview where Kurt spoke about the Jagstang and he said he still preferred the Mustang I think.

The JagStang's body is just weird. XDI'll probably change my tune though if I ever get to play one.
AnotherTool Apart from the shape and pickups, the Jag-stang is almost identical to the jap Mustang, they feel exactly the same, and they are about the same weight.Watch some analist go and weigh them now to see if there are differences.
JamesJ during the european leg of the in utero tour he used the jagstang quite frequently, sometimes almost for the full show. the main reason why he wouldnt play it for the whole show was the comfort level was no where near that of the contoured mustang
