this could be embarasing...but i wanna see what you think.

heres two links to my first sucessful recording attempts.

first is a 3 layer track i wrote and recorded for my mod warmgun and as you can hear my sense of rhythm is totally retarded and i kinda think its a #### song.

second is me cranking one of my fave distortions and doing my usual routine, which perfectly highlights my style but also reveals its limitations as its kinda repetative and simple for 4 mins long.

All in all though its not too bad for a one year, self taught player with no fingers (the whole thing was played with a thumb pick).

no fingers on your picking hand? ouch. mind telling us how it happened? yea, i have respect for that too. whats your fave distortion? ill tell you if i liked the tracks when im done listening to them.

I was born without fingers, just a partial thumb with no joint.

I normally use plain dunlop thumb plecs but i got my tech to cut a regular one and glue it to a filed down metal pick but its not quite right yet, its really scratchy and scrapy sounding.

I'd say my fave is a marshall, heavy mid and bass, medium treble and i always beef it up with either a chorus, tremolo or phaser, you hear them tremolo effect in my second link but it recorded kinda fuzzy.

I kinda like duel rectifiers too, good and chuggy but they can be harsh.

i take it the fingers were only lacking on one hand? and i liked the second track. the first one was good too but just a bit repetitive
