Oh i forgot, also i would have had to have Cross send me the neck before he did fretboard radius and fitted frets, to get local guy to do inlays, then send neck back to him for finishing, it would have cost more than just the extra for the inlays, not to mention extra time. If Cross would have been able to do the heart shaped ones, i would have got them. Seemed an awfull lot of trouble to go to just for the wank factor. I agree the chicks would have liked them but, and it would have been nice to have something a bit differant from the norm.
I didnt set out to have an exact copy made, i just wanted a guitar that IMO is a perfect mix of all the features i like.
PS Cross, is the bridge on backwards? On my LP copy the adjuster screws are facing the neck.
