Vintage Pickguard

I just got a new mustang-

Its a 65' that was stripped to natural a long time ago.

it has a 65' Duo Sonic II neck on it, which feels outstanding. Im pretty sure the control plate is original, along wiht the one pickup in the bridge.

The pickguard is an old stones record cut up, and i want a real pickguard on it. I have a warmoth pickguard on my compstang that was routed for two humbuckers so it doesnt matter. But the warmoth pickguard wont line up the neck pickup on the 65'.

if anyone has a vintage pickguard theyd sell, id be interested. If you know any place that makes a pickguard that will fit a 65' and not have to route the body, pelase let me know.

I have a black one that still has the plastic on it. I'll have to check if it lines up with a vintage one. $20 & shipping if interested pm me...

if he won't buy it, I damn sure will. I need a good pg for a template, and I'm not all that crazy about pulling the one off my 64...

Also, if you need a pg made, pm me and we'll sort out the color, price and whatnot. I'll do it cheaper than anyone else.

The spare pg that I have lines up almost 100% with my '78 pg. Only one hole is off by less than 1mm and the curve into the treble horn is also different by about the same margin...
