Who Actually Uses Their Jag/Jazz Tremolo?

I fiddle with it every now and then, but I just don't feel the need to use it extensively.

i use it a lot now. when i first got it i didnt use it too much, but now i use it constantly. i use it a lot with reverb for make my jag sound surfy/hawaiian-y sounding, also with some effects you can use it to make weird pitch bending for like a my bloody valentine-ish sorta sounds. i love it, its become a large part of my guitar playing technique now.

I've use it when I play harmonics thru a clean amp, just messing around. I'm going to have to try it with distortion+chorus. I'm a feedback fan. 😉

I use it all the time; mostly for the usual whammy effects as heard in old rock and roll. I'm also practicing making it sound like slide guitar, and with some overdrive on it sustains and wiggles nicely.

oh yeah, one of the jags draws was the trem, both the look and the fact that it has one.

i use it all the time, with a graphtech nut.

Lol. I made that just to demonstrate the Jag stays in tune even with heavy tremelo abuse.

To be honest i dont use the trem much at all really.

I use it like crazy! Went for years without using a tremolo...nowadays I have one on my jag and one my tele. Great for adding some color to just about everything. Safe to say I am totally addicted to it now!!

Nice man! I had a Bigsby installed on my tele. Love that thing...only kind of a bitch to change strings.

only thing that would make that look nicer is a rosewood fretboard

perhaps im a purist but rosewood on a tele looks like a super modle with a cold sore.

just kidding but i prefer rosewood and i think that tele would look really nice with rose wood, but its what ever you like

I use my trem all the time, it's one of the best reasons to get a Jag/JM

I use my burst Jaguar's trem a lot, next to the Jag-Stang it's got the most used vibrato in the house.

My typical use is usually Van-Halen-like bar dives and pitch bending slides into notes. Sometimes I do some surf type stuff, and I for altering pitches using the "3rd bridge technique" Surprisingly, the Jag/Jazz vibrato unit is quite a bit more versatile than originally thought.

i know my screen name probably gives it away.....but i use mine extensively.

in fact, the tremolo design and how it matched my playing style was one of the main attractors that made me pick up a jag in the first place. i got tired of cutting my hand on my strat and the poorly modified tremolo i used on that.

I never really used my Jag's tremolo.

And since I lost the whammy bar, I don't use it anymore 😁

I'm a Tele man from way back and those are some beautiful mods. Especially loving the vibrato systems, and REALLY loving the chrome pickguard 😀 Gorgeous finish on No. 1 too.

However, with the modded bridge and humbuckers, does it sound even remotely like a Telecaster anymore?

Not me! I've actually mod'd the trem so it's now solid (but easily reversable) I seem to get a little more sustain this way and it NEVER goes out of tune
