So I've been trying to modify my jag hh with a new bridge pup, a lace sensor red dually, copper shielding, I took the tone out and put a pushbutton killswitch in it's place, and a new 2 meg vol pot and I was testing to see if they worked by tapping on them and the neck pickup works just fine but when I switch to lead mode nothing happens, I made diagrams of where everything was wired to not screw up but I can't figure out what I did wrong , I'm thinking I may have wired the dually wrong or something because they are basically like 2 single coils stuck together and they need to be wired together but even then shouldn't some kind of noise have came through when I tapped on it? I also know that taking the tone out of the bridge pup made the one switch ineffective but the bridge on/off and the neck on/off should still work right? Sorry, this is sounding super confusing but anyone with some insight or wiring diagrams please help me!
