Searching for a left-handed JS

Hello everybody,

I'm new here and I don't know if I have the right to make an announce this way but still the fact is that left-handed Jag-Stang aren't very common to find. I've already read the FAQ, however it appears what I'm searching for isn't available. So I'd like to know if any of you was selling his left-handed JS and what would be the price of such an item.

keep an eye on ebay, set up a search and it will email you whenever there is a new item added that matches your description, very handy!

the cheapest left handed jag-stang that i have ever seen was a blue one that was right about 800.00 bucks on ebay, every now and again a place called g-base has them.

does anyone know if they used left handed trems on them or if they used righty trems?

dont see why they wouldnt, lefty mustangs have lefty trems, dont they? theyre the same system, and the routing is the same for lefty and righty so...

I'd build one dude, a lefty will cost you a years earnings and a few body parts in the current market.

agreed. building one will actually save money, or at the very least not lose any and get the guitar sooner. you could have somebody like robert(original) build the body or neck (or both) and you could fix any problems you have with the design, like the lack of contours. or you could use better pickups.

but often times the re-issues cut corners.

like the re-issue lefty tuners have righty casings and the lefty jags have right handed trem units.

It seems very difficult for me to do so... I'd better get a Mustang I guess. Or is it possible (and easy) for my luthier to build a lefty with a righty ? How much could I expect from it ?

lefty js's are hard to find but a few pop up on ebay every now and then, like everyone else said id just build one.alot easier and cheaper and you can have all the features you want.

If I see a lefty one I'll try to send it to my uncle in Minneapolis. But it's too much complicated and I'm thinking about buying a Mustang now. The only thing is I've read the lefty Mustangs are only available after a customization ?
