XxMangoxX I know when it is mentioned it is refrencing the guitars body, but is a guitar declared off-set because its not symetrical like an SG o a Stratocaster? o.O
tragictravisty i think it means that the line between the knee curve and tummy curve isnt perpendicular to the line between the bridge and nut
Mustang-Pete yeah, Strats aren't offset, as the 'waist' of the guitar curves in at the same point.Theres a good example of the old (non offset) Duo Sonic shape and the newer (offset) shape of the Duo Sonic II and the Mustang.
phaeton basically where the body becomes narrow in the middle, one side is lower than the other, like the left one in the pic, producing a slanted look.
