multiple fret buzzing

Hello. Me again. But recently my mustang is giving me some trouble. I cleaned the springs, adjusted the height of bridge and moved the saddles for intonation (following the guide here in the page) and shimed the bridge (the action needed it).

After that, multiple frets are not giving out the right sound. For example, the low E in the 3rd, 9th; A in 7th; D in 5th, 6th, 7th... and so on... Also the low E vibrates just too much.

Any help will be appreciated.

That probably means that the frets are slightly uneaven on the top. A simple re-crowning job should do it... do you know any professionals or guys who know how to work on guitars? If so, take it to them.

crowning may not be appropriate, but a fret leveling would be.

does your neck have the right amount of relief?

how old is the neck?

at any rate you should take it to a well known luthier/guitar tech for a good fret level and crown to make sure it can be in the best playing condition.

How many setups have you done before?

If you are inexperienced and haven't done that many, it's likely that you've made a mistake in the setting up process.

I think this could be the reason why your guitar is buzzing. This can happen all the time. When you shimmed the neck, you made the action to high, and now some strings are slightly hitting the fretts, which gives it that buzzing sound, to correct this i would lower the action, maybe remove the shims and try it then, i think that might fix the problem. You may also wanna try lower gauge strings so you can clear from hitting the fretts that might help.
