65 and 69 mustang re-issues

do parts from the 69 ri mustang and the 65 ri mustang (both japanese, obviously) fit each other? i am starting to build a mustang, but the only way i can really do it is by combining these parts. if not i will need to either do a lot of thinking, or probably scrap the idea ☹

the only thing that MIGHT NOT fit is the pickguard, but i doubt that it will be that much of a hassle.

ya thats what i heard, the pickguard may not match exactly but not much of a difference, all the other parts should match fine.
