I could post some pictures, but not now, I gotta get ready for work. I took Roberts advice, although, I didn't use sanding sealer, I just used primer, but I put on probably about 6 coats of primer before I got it so it wouldn't show bare wood. I'd simply apply the primer then about an hour or two or so later and add another layer of primer, wait a day or a couple in my case, 'cos I'm lazy, then I sanded it, and put on 2 more coats, sanded and got it nice n smooth. I plan on doing essentially the same thing with the paint. I don't know why you'd need to add 10 coats, like Fran said, but if I do, I've got another bottle of the paint. You're going to need quite a bit of clear coat, I used damn near an entire bottle just on the neck, and it's no where near as glossy and smooth as a Fender neck. But don't take my word for that. I'd say use it up first, and if you need it, order it.
