It's only paper right? You can have a good few goes at getting it perfect before it becomes expensive.
Just a thought though, now that the action is going to be super close to the pickguard, you might have to change the position of the switch because it'll be alot taller than the strings from the pickguard. Get what i'm saying?
You'd have to control your strumming or end up with blood all over the pickguard.
