what exactly are you asking here? On a Mustang, both switches will be grounded to one of their tabs that carry a ground wire, both the volume and tone will be grounded, one tab of the volume pot will be grounded to it's casing, all the shielding will be connected with ground wire and you should have, either a 3" B string wire from the trem plate to the control plate, or a ground wire from the bridge cup to the control cavity, via a drilled hole. As for where they all seem to meet up, it doesn't matter, so long as everything is grounded. Now, as for 2nd post in this thread, the ground wire from the bridge, pup/switch circuit and shielding plates is typically attached to the volume pot.
