I would go for a mustang trem or even a bronco trem and I would go for orange as the color.

Well, someone at SS said they tried a Tele neck on their Jagmaster and it worked perfectly. So i'm going to gamble on a cheapo Squier neck.

As for fitting a Jaguar trem for cosmetic reasons but leaving the Strat trem operational, the idea is from John Squires 'Jazzuar'. Heres an example;

Unfortunately not.

But i did find this information off the now redundant Jagmaster Forum;

When Squire switched back to the 24" scale, they designed a "conversion neck" so they could use the existing Jagmaster body

Which confirms a Strat neck will fit. YAY!

SICK! ive had that idea for a while, a 24" scale neck fitting on a 25 1/2" body

According to that quote a 'Conversion neck' will do the job. I'm no expert though as this thread shows.

Pink I'm not sure off. Matching the headstock is always cool. So are racing stripes. As for the neck I could use some help too as my cyclone is supposed to have a 24.75 scale neck, However the former owner has replaced it with what I think is a standard scale squier musicmaster neck. I would like to replace it with a jagmaster neck will this work?

Nice...I'd say all white, matching headstock...I'm buying a Jagmaster tomorrow afternoon hopefully sunburst, and I'll probably put in a Super-Vee locking trem. Check em out if you haven't heard of them, they drop right into any guitar with a strat trem, no modification, and they've got some sick features.

what about lake placid blue with matching headstock and stripe, or i saw a sonic blue custom job with a matching headstock and tortoise pickguard that looked really cool.

What about stripping off the finish completely and staining it like an Elvis Costello JM? Not sure what kind of wood it is, but I love the looks of the Costello.

how about a jag/jazz trem (being the jagmaster). but because of the strat trem, will the jag, stang or bronco trems fit ok (because of the bridge mainly)

The idea of a refin has gone out the window due to how good the tort looks on black.

Nice to see an update on this, Fran. as a brand new Jagmaster owner myself, I am curious.

I remeber talk about the neck.. what did you end up with? Also what pups have you put in there?

Any chance of a vid on youtube when she's fully up and running 😁

edit: also, what kind of bridge is that> it doesn't look quite like the stock strat-style bridge. And what pup selector did you put in? I'm thinking of swapping mine out, I don't quite trust it when it is selected to bridge position...
