Supreme guitars

Last summer i got this 12 guitar and hard case at a yard sale for 30 bucks the guitar is made by a company called supreme and the model is d-12n. It plays awesome and it has a 0 fret and adjustable bridge but currently it has 6 strings on it since i dont play many 12 string songs and i perfer its sound over my epiphone. i havent been able to find info on the Interw3bs about it anyone know about supreme guitars 😕

I know this is a very old post.

Take a look at this guitar. It's a Supreme E6-n made by Harptone. I just came across it via a responce in a posting in another fourm. Harptone made contract guitars for Standel, Conn, Yamaki and Supreme. Please let me know if the headstock matches yours. I'd like to add your to my data base if it does. You can e-mail/ message me with pics and serial number if you like. I'll post it on my Facebook group "Standel and Harptone guitars" and will add it to the refferance web page when I get it up and running. Oh. Please include a photo of the label. i know this is an old post but i have owned a supreme 12 string in my youth until I loaned to a friend that disappeared. I bought it at Sam Ash in Hempstead NY. i woudl love to see a picture of it. is a jumbo body? woudl you consider selling? email me at: tunerjam at aol dot com.

The Supreme guitar pictured above belongs to me, Eric and I collaborate often on his Facebook group. Unless by some strange twist Perdie has your old guitar, that makes 3 reported instances of Supreme guitars. Do you recall if there were any similarities between yours and mine, particularly in the appearance of the label? There is no doubt that my guitar is a Harptone E6-N relabel, I would love to find out if there are any others out there. Hopefully this thread will show up in a search if anyone googles "Supreme guitar"....

I have the identical guitar pictured above. I got it at Sam Ash Music in Brooklyn. I am guessing 1965. Mine is not in as good condition as I played it for years and years when I was very young.

Hi I have what looks like a very old SUPREME guitar. However the label is didifferent than the one shown above. I have no idea how it came into my possession, and was very worn when I first remember having it. All it says on the inside is "MADE IN CANADA". It's in pretty bad shape I'll admit but I would guess from the design that it could be from the 50s maybe. It resembles some of the early martins with the smaller body and has a tailpiece. I would very much like to know more about it and the manufacturer. I can post a photo if anyone could tell me how.

Hi. I have a Supreme Classical guitar that my Grandmather gave me years ago. She recieved it in the 70's from an old boyfriend. I learned how to play on this guitar. eventually I did some research and found nothing about the comapny. This is the first place I found a post about Supreme guitars. Mine is a classical guitar, fair condition, sounds amazing. I dont recall the model #, I think its like D01 or something. Ill have to look it up. The curious part about it is that the serial # is 001. I feel like this guitar has some rarity to it, but i know nothing of the guitar. ill post a pic when I get a chance.

googlydoodle. The sn is an odd one for any Harptone USA made guitar. My records show production of all acoustic guitars except Conns started with 1001- ?. Conns started with 201. Harptone did make classical/ folk guitars in two models, and where called Renzi. I'd love to see some photos of it as they are very hard to come by.

Mr. Six and googlydoodle, can you guys come visit Eric and me on his Facebook "Harptone, Standel and Supreme guitar" group and tell us about your guitars? At this time we know of 7 Supremes that were made by the Harptone company, located in Newark, NJ in the mid to later 60s. Yours may or may not be related but they sure sound interesting.
