It sounds lovely, these are my favorite humbuckers I've heard.
Guild is more known for archtops and acoustics, but they made some sweet solid bodies in the 60s and 70s. Old Guilds were QUALITY. Guild sort of got ruined after they were acquired by Fender. They reissued some of the old models in the 90s under the name DeArmond, but they were made in Korea. In 2005 they started making Guild acoustics in China. I believe they also still make some of the high end ones in the Tacoma guitars factory in Washington. I think they only do acoustics now. As far as I know they're all nice, but the originals are amazing.
