small clone

i just picked up a small clone on the bay for 54 bucks..anyone else have one? what do you think about it?

For once I can reply to a topic like this! Yes, I do! I like it, it can alter the guitar's sound well and also make some really cool sounds when you have the amp cranked up so it's making feedback. When the depth switch is up and the rate is full, it turns the normal screech into quick screechy bursts. And also, it's good for Nirvana songs. 😀

was definately going to get one this month but I picked up a JB so should hold off really to keep wifey happy 😆

ive seen some demos on youtube with it and it sounds great and can make alot of sounds..its the best chorus you can buy!

I love mine, such a great chorus pedal. You can go from ice cold sounds to a warbly sound. The controls are simple 1knob 1switch. It is my favorite chorus pedal, if it ever broke I would go buy another right away. You wont be disappointed.

but on the topic of polychorus verse small clone... i like the small clones chorus better. there different. but obviously the polychorus is more diverse

is there a point of having both a small clone and a polychorus? because they're both chorus's but the pollychorus is way more diverse with alot more options..

small clone is a great chorus, but I think the best chorus you can buy is

but its vintage and will run you at least $450

I'd say there is, because the PolyChorus can do a lot more - it can probably recreate all the sounds of a Small Clone, and a hell of a lot more. But if you had both, you could use a Small Clone in the song and the PolyChorus for the solo, or whatever.

as i said i like the small clone chorus better than the polychorus's, so there different. the polychorus isnt as liquid smooth sounding if that makes sense.

You'll need a PolyChorus to do that.

The Small Clone is awesome.

I basically don't turn it off when I write songs((see my bands MySpace, you'll see)).

It sounds like water to me, that's why I affectionately call it the "Aqua Pedal". 😉

Hello Everyone! I want to change Boss CE-5 Chorus on a more Deep & Wattery sound chorus like Small Clone, but with small clone i don't have lot of options like with PolyChorus! I want to know can PolyChorus give me nice, good chorus close to Small Clone? Mainly i need good chorus and after that versatile, but if PolyChorus give me good deep wattery chorus it's will be better, i'll have chorus with a lot of options. In the internet i found article where author said, that the PolyChorus give some delay in chorus mode, even if Tune/Delay knob on 0 position. He said it's not a good chorus like Small CLone, but it is more than chorus! Can You advice me?)

As far as I understand it the PolyChorus can do everything a Small Clone can and more. I'll hopefully get one soon - I want to have my own cool rig.
