every time i play on the 8-18 frets i feel in my fingers as though im getting shocked help me please!!!

I take it you are using an amp. Unplug the amp. Does it still shock? Unplug your effects? Does it still shock? Check for loose wires in the guitar and your amp. Did you remove the ground prong on the amp's electrical cord to use in a two-prong outlet?

Also, are you using two amps in parallel? That'll do it. If so, you need a signal director.

when i was first learning the guitar and my fingers wernt broke in i would sometimes get shooting pains in my fingertips after pressing down on the string it really hurt!

i didnt cry or nuthin tho 😆

but i dout this what your getting . mabye try takeing a bath with your radio siting in the water see if it feels the same.

that sounds like a weird problem. it's especially weird as 7th and lower or 19th and higher don't have the same effect. that makes me think that it is you that is the problem.

I was thinking the same thing, but knowing this kid has such a hard time communicating what he's thinking, I thought I'd try the techy route.

if it really was shocks then it'd happen at any fret or even unfretted. so it's obviously not shocks.

I actually have had the same thing happen to me. It's just from the angle at which you've got your wrist/hand bent. If you're playing standing up, try shortening your strap. It helped me.
