EH Small Clone with Depth Button

Yesterday, my friend bought a small clone. An excellent chorus, but closed slightly in depth, so either, or both. I want to replace the switch on the depth button (knob)! If someone knows, what I must replace & which components to install? I made an example in Photoshop, how i want to look it.

Yes, I want instead switch a knob. I want more versatile this chorus, not only 2 position of deprh. Something like controls on Boss CE-2, Rate & Depth knob.

I wouldn't know, but is it possible? I think the depth is just two-way, hence the switch - I don't think you can make it somewhere in between.

Yes, I saw this video too, but there not only a depth knob, it's a depth, vibrato, rate knobs & i think switch vibrato/chorus.

I dare say its as easy as wiring a pot to the switch(wires)?? I'll do some more research 😁
