tylerfender to lock it down you just screw the 2 posts in the cigar shaped thing all the way down to the plate so the vibrato cant move, to flip the tailpiece you just unscrew the cigar tube, and turn it around and re-screw it on so the holes for the end of the strings(the ball end) goes in at the end of the plate and goes directly to the bridge and not in and under the vibrato..if that makes sense

nirvana23freak screwing them all the way might not work. i just take the springs out and put some washers in under the plate to keep the screws straight and screw them in. tight as ####

nirvana23freak just put a couple washers under the bridge plate. you have tot ake the springs off though. and the things that hold the springs on will hold the washer and it will make the tail piece stay stiff

melvin-man bastard thing.finally found some washers that will do the trick but they are too big so the whole piece will not fit back on the body.
AnotherTool Take the trem down to your local DIY store, ask the guy where the section is and start trying stuff out!
melvin-man i took the washer with me to work yesterday, i knew it was the correct inner diameter, just needed something with a smaller outer diameter. Its now sorted!!Just need a new bridge and some screws for the JB and i'm done 😁😎
