CIJ reissue trem on vintage body?

I have a 66 jaguar body that I am building. I am currently on the hunt for a trem. I was wondering if the japaneese reissue trem would fit on my vintage body. do the holes line up? Or should I keep searching for an original on eBay. Also what single coil pickups have you put into your jags. I want some pickups that will fit in the original covers, but that I can afford. I probably wouldn't be able to afford originals, not after what I've already spent on this project.

any job worth doing, is worth doing right. sell some blood and get good pups or something. american vintage pups go for pretty cheap on ebay. and the trem thing should line up pretty well. what kinda of a neck are you going to be using. year/ shape/ and make

i'd get the american reissue trem. they are identical to the vintage ones. the japanese ones have the string spacing closer together, the hole for the collet looks too big, spring is not as strong, trem lock button hasn't got swirl marks on it, trem doesn't clip in like american one, stainless steel instead of chrome plate like the american one, logo is different, screws aren't nickel plated, and they just generally look cheap. since the american one is only $10 more than the japanese one, get that:

thanks for the link. I was looking at guitarpartsresource.com and they were sold out of the American trem's. I'm probably going to buy a warmoth neck. I love big frets and hate rosewood fretboards, so I dont want to spend lots of money on a vitage neck that I won't like to play. I built a 65 mustang from a poor hashed up chiseled out body with a warmoth neck and love it.
