New chorus pedal

I'm looking for a chorus pedal, but I have no clue what to look for. I like to play mostly alternatic rock, punk rock, grunge and a little classic rock, and I want to make pretty crazy and extreme sounds out of the pedal. Even though NIrvana is my favourite band and I highly idolize Kurt Cobain I really don't want to buy a EH PolyChorus and especially not the Small Clone since I already own a DS-2 and don't want to seem like a complete Kurt Cobain wannabe/ripoff.

id really recommend the polychorus for its diversity. small clone is great too. but if you dont want either of those id check out the boss chorus's

other than that...everyone here seems to buy a polychorus or small clone, but i never read abt the eh clone theory on this board...i think that is eh's best sounding chorus by far.

At the moment I definately don't want the small clone, but a Poly Chorus might be interesting. Isn't that the one Kurt uses on the intro for Radio Friendly Unit Shifter? I think I'm going to look up the clone thory too.

How much is a Poly Chorus going for nowadays anyway?

i buried it in my post....and not that you asked anyway...but please try a clone theory if you go to the shops...they are $118, more than a small clone, less than a poly. does everything a small clone does plus....and has a good vibrato to boot.

If I ever see it I'll try it, I promise 😉 But I watched some demos of some pedals at youtube, and I think I will buy a used PolyChorus, I really like the sounds you can make with it.
