Okay, I was wondering how pre-amps are setup/work. A good example is kurt's mesa/boogie studio pre amp, which I would assume is somehow connected to his twin as well as his power amps. How do pre-amps work though? I don't understand since it is just a box that from what I see, sits on top of the amps...I know this may be a stupid question but this has puzzeled me for quite awhile now. 😆
