So let's compare a new MIM to a... Highway1 strat

I went to ebay earlier today and discovered that a brand new american highway 1 stratocaster is going for under the price of what a mexican classic player Jag/Jazz is going for. Why? I mean what's up with the highway 1 if it's cheaper than a mexican jaguar? Have anyone played both a highway 1 strat and a classic player jaguar and can tell me how they play and feels?

I was planning to get a MIM HH, but since I can get an American fender for under that price I might've changed my mind... Help me change it back!

The Highway One Strat is a no frills model and it is'nt 100% US made either. Its value has dropped in time whilst the new Classic Players are in their honeymoon period.

I've not heard much good about the Highway models in comparison to the American Standard Sratocasters, i suppose players want the real thing and because AVRI Jaguars are fairly rare (compared to a Strat) and expensive Fender may think the MIM models will do well.
