I played a righty version of this in a local shop.
-The neck feels wider than my MIJ Jag.
-Sounded, well like a humbucker guitar, like an SG. Which is cool, but I prefer having a single in the neck to get that classic Fender tone from, and I love the sound of a bucker in the bridge. Plus I always have the option of adding a coil split switch to get single coil sounds from it. Can't say I'm really partial to dual hums.
-TOM is awesome. If it were easy to drop into my Jag I would, it just felt so solid in comparison to my stock bridge. I would have liked it better if Fender had left the vibrato tail piece at least. I liked the bridge a lot.
I would recommend going and trying one out in person before you order one. To me, I wouldn't personally buy one, because there are no lefties, and I would rather have it set up differently. I'd rather just modify a regular Jag with a bridge hum and TOM. It is a nice guitar, just not really the way I would have liked to have it set up. You might love it, though.
