REDOING MY PEDAL BOARD ADVICE PLEASE

So I am redoing my pedalboard and I am talking out loud and I feel like an idiot so Im wondering what you guys would think. I have an SGB PS-45 Pedal board and there are a few constant pedals the chain goes Vox Wah---WH-10---(ADDITONAL PEDALS)---Small Clone---Flanger--Superhardon---Tuner

I am wondering what to add to the gap inbetween my wahs and chorus here are my options there are alot so bear with me lmao.

FZ-5 Fuzz (I only use the fuzzface setting and its decent)

DS-2

OS-2

Fulltone 70 Fuzz (with the clip inside low so it mimics a Fuzz Face)

English Muffn

DS-1

Roger Mayer Octavia

Russian Big Muff

POG

Metal Muff

Tuberscreamer

I have a rockerverb 50 combo so I'm sure if I want to incorporate distortions and fuzzes or just use the amp distortion and add say the memory and pog for more overrall soundscape tones... What do you guys reccomend I do add more distortion/fuzzes to the mix or add the pog and memory man (its only those two cause there huge)! THANKS FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS :]

also what would come first if I use the POG and Memory man? the delay or the octave I think the octave does right?

id leave out the ds-1 and 2, and the fz-5. but then again, i hate the ds series, and the fz-5 sounds crappy on youtube. is tuberscreamer a copy of a tubescreamer or a typo?

I would always put the delay straight before the amp. And Big Muffs are always good.

Tubescreamer was a typo, in real life the FZ-5 isn't terrible granted it only has one good setting the fuzzface one the rest are just gross. I wanted to leave out the fuzzes cause I like the amps natural distortion but Fuzz is always fun to play with. (times like these I wish I had two foot switchable pedal boards)

youve got a fulltone 69' for fuzz. theyre your pedals, which is better?

Actually I have a fulltone 70 fuzz , I would rate them somewhat close imo the fulltone is just a little louder.

You have some good pedals there, i cant see how a garbage DS-1 will sit with a Fulltone. Its not worthy. Unless you like cascading gain to get some nasty sounds.

I'd cut the gain pedals down to maybe 4, keep the TS or SD-1 (same pedal anyway) then the Fulltone and a couple of Muffs.

I haven't used my DS-1 in years it really is terrible I got it when I just started out and was after the KurDtZz. I finally somewhat decided on my pedals it goes.

I added alot more of my "noise" pedals to the mix and the tubescreamer is the only OD so that I can just naturally push the Oranges distortion, but I might smitch it out cause I love my fuzzes. I want to get a more Indie/Noise/Experimental sound I know alot of guys around here are into that so you guys think thats a good pedal order?

Generally gain fx go before modulation and time fx, but its all trial and error.

Is there any signal effects by changing order? Like will my delay or pog sound better before gain and boost?

Not sure on the POG, plus EHX pedals behave weird with other brands sometimes. But delay should sound better last. Some people use chorus/Flange before gain and it does sound different to the other way round.

Order should'nt change the bypassed signal but i'm sure it will the other way depending what you have on.

Some gain pedals used with another drops the signal, but some increase the volume like your amp is gonna blow. Just try different combinations. Dont forget though, if you are using your Orange you'll be pushing them valves with a lot of power.

I generally like fuzz as last drive in chain and sometimes use reverb pedal before modulation and now I have reverb pedal before delay but I'm into shoegaze/ambient/experimental/rock; So my chain goes like this: wah->drive->distortion->fuzz->phaser->flanger->reverb->delay 😀

Thanks fran and Z, I am going to have to take some time and reorder my pedals a little I think to see what order I think sounds best.

dirt + delay: if delay is last, the repeats will be the same as the realtime playing. if delay is first they will become gradually cleaner. also youll get overtones like youre playing chords. can get muddy.

modulation+delay/reverb: if delay/reverb is after, repeats will be the same as real-time playing. if modulation is after, the whole sound will modulate. try to have delay and timebased effects in sync.
