Hiya
Ive just bought a new Jag, its my first Fender and ive just got a few questions for anyone that might know the answers.
Ive not had a guitar with a tremelo arm before but my Jag seems to always be slightly out of tune and its really hard to get in tune, is this just a typical thing for any guitar with a trem arm or could there be a problem?
It doesnt sound completely out just a little bit off but enough to notice.
Also there is a buzzing/rattling sound coming from the bridge which can be heard when you play it when it isnt plugged in, again is this normal or could there be a problem?
Lastly I have a couple of quick questions about the tremelo again, There is a circular disc on the trem plate which clicks back and forth when you push it, what does this do? also is the trem arm suppossed to just slide in and out the guitar body or is there a way of locking it in so you have to release it when you want to remove it?
Ive already had to take it back to be looked at once because the input socket was faulty and also the bottom E kept slipping off the bridge so im a little worried that I might have a duff guitar so any help anyone could offer would be great.
