SmutVendetta My Jaguar is coming, and it'll be here in, I'm guestimating here, 2-3 weeks! Can't wait! Hope that he doesn't decide to try to pocket my money and not send it. Some shady people out there ya know. Any tips from CraigsList users to avoid this?

NBarnes21 It's not really a good idea to do a Craigslist transaction long distance, Craigslist themselves say to do all business in person and locally to avoid scams. I'd try to get as much info from this guy as you can as soon as possible. Did you pay via PayPal? That would help your chances of not getting screwed, but I wouldn't do Craigslist transactions like that in the future.

He seems pretty trustworthy, and I did pay via paypal. I'm a little nervous, but he won't send it until the payment clears, and I don't blame him, I wouldn't either to avoid being scammed. Anything you would recommend doing, if I do wind up being scammed?
BanditGuitarist1 if you do get scammed open a claim with paypal for the item and get your money back, a few months ago my credit card was stolen and used all over the web by some n00b gamer kid that bought a runescape account...long story short i got all my money back from paypal (300 dollars)

Good to hear you got your money back. I'm assuming this kid found your credit card on the ground or something? That's a huge offense, what happened to the newb gamer kid?
BanditGuitarist1 Well when I got my money back and the card number changed his account was closed etc so the n00b got pwnd
Mustang-Pete Sorry if I am straying off topic, and being a bit ignorant, but I have always wondered...what does "Pwnd" or "Pwned" actually mean?
BanditGuitarist1 pwnd or pwned is gamer talk for "owned" or beaten really bad that its slightly embarrassing, usually a fast swift and brutal defeat in a game or irl (in real life). I think the hardest one to understand is 1337, which is code for l33t which is code for Elite meaning your the best. Someone actually put that as there bet on final jeopardy once and won nobody really noticed when it happened.
SmutVendetta I'm going to stray off topic as well n ask Bandit what games he plays that he knows this information, if any at all.
