hiya,
Had a few mods done to my jagstang a while back, one of which was to convert it to a hard tail.
Just discovered the 'in progress' emails from the guy who did it for me & thought it might be of interest to someone?
Am delighted with it & it works like a charm.

"Bridge:
I've completed the work to convert the bridge to non-tremolo and it's a doddle really as the attached photo's show. Basically, I've unclipped the springs and replaced the tremolo pivot bolts with fixed bolts.
I've fitted a 1.6mm (0.064") washer between the bridge plate and the string retaining bar to provide enough clearance for the heaviest gauge of strings to pass under.
All bolts and washers are stainless steel, so there is no question of corrosion.
To ensure, nothing rattles loose or buzzes, the bolts are fitted with sprung lock washers and I've applied some low strength nut lock adhesive both in the string retaining bar threads and between the washers and the bridge plate to dampen any potential vibrations."
