practicality is not the same as sweetness and coolness.

In fact a lot of the time they are inversely proportional.

Anyway, what exactly is that meter for???

edit: I browsed all the wallpapers on the site, and I was very surprised to see Telecasters (I am biased toward Telecasters) that supposedly belonged to Albert Collins (the ice-picker himself) and Roy Buchanan (possibly the most underappreciated guitar player I have ever come across).

Buchanan's Tele now has pride of place as my desktop background 😀

the meter is cosmetic. it would be possible though to have it be functional, and work with the guitar signal.

I guess the meter could be used as a built-in tuner, or something.

Did you know Billy also plays Epiphones and not expensive or custom ones either, just regular stock Epiphones he says he plays anything that hits him. Just an interesting fact.
