I like them, but i don't understand why you're asking about them.

They are exactly the same as a regular six string, but with an added bass string, if you like Slipknot or Korn or something you'll like it, but if that B tuning is too "nu-metal" for you then you won't like it.

I have one, its an Ibanez RG w/ the Floyd bridge. its pretty cool, altho i hadnt really played it in years. I remember when these things cost $1,200+ now you can get them for penuts.

i dont have the time for drugs im too busy with school and guitar playing and i remeber i was gonna say how hard would it be to get use to playing a 7-string from a 6 -string

not hard at all its just an extra bass string...I think however they should have had another high string but thats just me, but I don't like 7-strings anyway.

Yeah, Korn is ok. however i havnt heard any of thier new stuff.

I got the 7 string because i was a fan of Steve Vai, Dream Theatre and Fear Factory.

i dont care for allot of music made with 7-strings, but that doesnt mean theres anything wrong with a low B string. although i will point out that most of the 7 strings out there are metal styled, which look and sound like ####.

Yeah, i really got it for experimental(?) reasons. i hardly ever played it, and really havnt played it in a few years. If you think low B is bad, i had it detuned to low A.

Its one of those things where you hate it, but cant get rid of it.

The things plays excellent and sounds excellent too, this model came stock with Dimarzio Pickups.

and these are made in Japan, so the quality is great, and still looks good for being 10 years old.

LOL, I guess what i said could be taken 2 different ways. I meant i hate the guitar, but i could never get rid of it. ..unless some idiot wants to give up a jaguar for it? LOL. any takers? i could use another Jag.
