It does look funny, and there's no way it's all original.

Fender didn't even think of matching headstocks until 68, and the body has been stripped and oiled at some point because you can clearly see the grain.

I'm not sure what coulour the headstock's supposed to be, but yeah, looks wierd.

Have Fender ever produced a non painted jaguar? I've never seen one.

I haven't seen one either. I don't think they exist. I wonder how much it'll sell for.

The neck is stamped and the plates have corroded with time, it has clay dots and the scratchplate has shrunk. I think it is mostly original except for the finish. The case also looks original.

Possibly. Notice the decal is on top of the lacquer as well? Another pre cbs sign.

The body is one piece alder so there is no way its CIJ or a 70's US model, in the 70's they were made up of several pieces of timber so they finished them in faux sunburst to cover it.

The frets are bound to be bad lol, its 45 years old! They might get away with being stoned or it could need a refret.

I'll tell you what, if i was in the States i'd be tempted to buy that.

tool there were matching stocks in the ealry 60s. but id assume its all OG exceot for whats noted and that its stripped.

I am considering buying it. I just got a Jaguar though lol. If the price stays that low though, I don't know if I'll be able to pass it up.

I can tell you now, there is something special about playing a 40 year old Fender. Maybe it is because the wood has matured and stuff, they just feel amazing.

That headstock doesn't look right at all. Funny there is so little info on the guitar and no close up photo of the headstock.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it. Too many unknowns

Looks to me like a Olympic White Jag with matching headstock that has been stripped of its body finish.

Jaguars were available with matching headstocks as an option since they came out in '62.

Only Jag that never saw a matching stock, was the sunburst and blonde.

I like the 1969 one myself. A while back they had two Lake Placid Blue ones with the block inlays and neck binding, but they sold them. I think their asking price (I emailed them) was $7,000 or so(!!!)

That's actually less than normal, or normal. Its normally like 10 grand. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes less.
