well i guess that technichally its a fourth guitar, or fifth if you count my acoustic, but i never play my washburn cause its hard to play sitting, and never play my first act cause its well, a first act. anyway, long story short my parents are divorced and i cant take my rig back and forth. at the moment all ive got at my moms is an acoustic. i want an electric.
id like something to contrast my jag HH as well. ive got a pretty low budget, and am looking for a) a used MIM strat to hotrod, or something somewhat similar, or 😎 build my own. im thinking about getting a routed alder blank off of warmoth or a custom made body by aug or another, and buying a used neck, or having one custom made by warmoth, or another (actually im seeing if aug'll do this). my dads friend has a band-saw, and we have a router and circular sander. I'm thinking hard-tail strat bridge, or maybe mustang trem. 3 single coils all straight with ####ed up wiring. id like to get it making sound (at least one pickup, a jack, and bridge/tuners) for about 300-400. ideas?
