Dean Markley strings

Does any one know if dean markley nickle steel strings bad they are good or crap. Also are D'addrio's bad cause i use them on my electro-acoustic?

D'addrio strings are good. I used to use them. I just prefer Earnie Ball.

11-54's are the ####. only problem is the g, its to big.

Yeah, I used that gauge of them once, I planned on doing some drop tunings with them, I'd agree with you that the G is definitely too big.

I use the slinkys too.

Normally i stick to the 9's to save my fingers when bending loads, but this time i'm going for power slinkys, 11-48's. I may be crying for a week or two but i hope they sound better.

I use a lighter gauge but yes....blue steels are the best strings out there

Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys are the be all and end all of electric guitar strings. For me anyway. 😉

I used Ernie Ball for years then tried Rotosound and felt liberated. Once i moved off of Gibson type guitars to Fenders i found D'addrio the best, especially with the skinny frets.

I recently tried some Dean Markley and i'm not impressed, they are'nt the 'blue steels' though.

i use dean markley 10-52 (also kurt cobains chioce). i havent had a problem yet, and they sound really good. however, i previously used rotosound (unsure what gauge), and ive had 2 of the strings unravel)
