Old Zoom 505. Submit patches.

I still like to jam on my old Zoom 505. Does anyone have any good distortion patches they've come up with? Zoom 505 Central has a lot of them as well.

505 has ok effects but mine broke so it was a piece of #### in my opinion.

no the buttons where you change/modify effects broke.

I've had mine for a while and have enjoyed it because it is so compact. I know they now make the Zoom 505 II which is a lot smaller. I do wish they had've put them into a metal casing instead of that old cheap plastic. The only problem I have with my 505 is the little +/- button likes to stick on it some. I used to own a Zoom 607 Bass processor but some drunk guy came up onstage doing pushups during a show and *&^%ed it up.

yeah same exact thing with my 505.

I had a zoom404 , big huge thing it was and all plastic. Nice though , i loved it . Unfortunatley it broke becuase i stomped on it too hard ☹

As I can't spend rivers of money in specific analogic pedals, I'm just considering picking up a V-Amp or a Zoom 505.

"Metal" distortion setting, EQ on 10. Then pry the 505 open, take a poo on the pcb and smoosh it back together.

In all seriousness, I'd recommend using the "overdrive" setting a high gain setting on those things rather than the distortion/metal settings because of their "pissed off wasp in jam jar" tonality.
