I think everyone who owns a Jag-Stang would rather have a Vintage Jaguar/Jazzmaster or Mustang, but usually you can't afford one so what's going to mimic that? A Jag-Stang, sure its not of the same quality but it has that look and somewhat of a feel to it. Its like a sippy cup, and when your ready, you can move to a big boy guitar like a Jaguar or Mustang or Jazzmaster. 😆
I picked up my first Jag-Stang that was beat to hell and back for about $230usd at a guitar shop, I got used to how it feels, so I had Warmoth make one from top of the line woods, and it will spank the pants off of any stock fender IMO and its the way it should have been made to begin with. But now I'm so used to short scale necks, that I'm hooked on Short Scale Crack, but not like Robroe, but someday.
