So, I recently acquired a candy apple red MIJ jag, and, of course, shortly found out how frustrating the stock bridge is. Despite all I've read about setting it up correctly--which I've done, for the most part, I've lubricated the screws and adjusted the tuning/action--I'm considering getting new saddles, probably graphtech string savers or tusq. I read somewhere on here that the reissue Jags, however, are grounded through the bridge; thus, using non-conductive bridge saddles would result in an ever-present, non-grounded hum? Does the tailpiece have to be grounded in this case, and how would one go about that? Any insight is welcome.
P.S. Anybody tried the graphtech saddles? The verdict?
