seymour duncan hot rails

I just bought a SD hot rails for my stang and I have no clue how to install it. It's got 5 wires coming from it, black, white, red, green, and a bare wire. The stock single coils in the guitar have two wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I don't know what I'm doing.

Ive wired a few of these in my Stangs.

solder the red and white wire together, tape it off.

I may be wrong because it has been awhile, but i think the black is the hot

and the green and bare are ground.

When the stock and hot rails pickups are used together, and if they sound weak or nasaly, switch the black and green wires.
