Must Have for me....digitech Whammy for the following reasons...

- use the 5ths setting on some songs

- use the "detune" as a makeshift chorus effect

- use the drop tuning to change tunings mid song

- use the octave sections to double as an octave divider pedal or emulate 12-strings

Without those, some of the songs I've been doing in my current projects just would not be the same.

It's a peavey bandit 112. The "Transtube" technology was supposedly great tube emulation, but I grew to like it less and less over time...Otherwise a great amp, but the distortion sounds tinny once you get past a light blues sound. For anything heavier I use the big Muff.

"useful" is a very subjective word, it all depends on what youre playing

Depends on what amp I'm playing, althoug my boss pedal tuner is always useful, it is (in case of blackheart Amp) no pedals or (in case of ENGL) my big muff/fender blender or my polychorus.

I'm surprised more people haven't said wah pedal, that would be third on my list. I've got a refurbished 90's crybaby that I used to disdain but has lately been sounding better for some reason...

I have a crybaby, but rarely use it to be honest.... I occasionally kick it on for some Hendrix licks or crazy Morello shiz but apart from that...

I have a Small Clone that is almost always on... I find that w/ the depth switch off and rate all the way down, it just gives this nuance of sparkle that makes clean sound shimmery and the distortion has this almost hint of Phaser-ish Halen type sound to it.

why not just buy a Phase 90, and then be able to use yr chorus pedal as a chorus pedal... They're cheap and easy to find.

I think everyone should have some muff to play with now and again.

My experience with the ME-50 hasn't been great. I've used one live (a few times) and it's cut out on me just about every time. Also in my opinion, they sound no where near as good as individual pedals do.

It's not the pedal I use the most but my Echo Park is the where it's at (with 2 tables an a microphone).

It's got great "classic" tape, analogue & digital delays

+slap back that sounds almost as good as the the "Double Track" setting on my EH Poly

+swell setting which does Boss Slow Gear sound

+reverse delay that you can take the dry signal all of the way out

+sweep mode; which I don't think anyone else does

and it's got a trails on/off switch (which I always leave on) so yr echos don't cut off

i like it to but the name is SOOOOO #### and it looks rubbish to (not that it matters) so mine is covered in duck tape to block off how #### it looks.
