I am getting ready to solder in pickups on my Jazzmaster project. I realized, per the wiring in my 64 Jazz, that there is a ground wire that runs from the main wiring cavity to the tremolo assy. I ordered a prewired Rothstein pickguard assembly without pickups. Everything on there is wired with cloth covered wire. Would it make any difference if I used regular plastic covered wire, versus cloth, as the ground connection from the tremolo to ground on one of the pots? I ask this in regards to minimizing hum. I don't have any cloth wire right now, but I do have tons of regular wire.
